Completion

My parents completed on the sale of their second home today.

It was not without a slight sense of sadness and gratitude that I passed it today. We’ve had some good times in there as a family and I will always remember it as a very warm house, but moreover it gave me shelter from the storm following my second divorce and staying there for a second time a couple of years later meant that I could get the extension work done at my own home.

If the new owners get even half as much pleasure from living there as we did (in our various guises) they will be doing very well!
