Pink and Blue

The meadow is bursting with flowers just now. There are large swathes of oxeye daisies in bloom, swaying in the breeze with the long grasses under the apple trees. Scattered amongst them are patches of dog roses, their soft pink petals contrasting perfectly with the blue sky.

Grateful:
- That I’ve managed to convert a makeshift raised bed into a mini greenhouse for chilli peppers.
- For the goat’s cheese and vegetable quiche Andy created for supper.
- To have created my best compost yet using the knowledge gained from reading ‘Compost Kate’s’ book. It was a fascinating read!
