I Witness

By KangaZu

Wild Wednesday ...

... high steppin' Grackle.

You would think that since I didn't go anywhere today I would have gotten my blip up in time.  But ... no ... I didn't really take the time to upload my pictures until Thursday.  So this is a backblip.  And I'm okay with that.

The weather was a bit cooler today so I didn't swim but I did spend a lot of time either outside or in the sunroom simply enjoying the day.  We did not get out for a walk other than walking up and down our own street.  The neighbor two doors down was having their house painted and we (being nosy) wanted to check it out.  They did a good job with the painting but we both find the color a bit odd ... it has a slight light greenish look to it and doesn't really match the stone work on the front of the house.  Wow!  Does that sound too critic or what!  Sorry!

I tried like hell to get a picture of one of the many common grackle youngsters ... but they were on to me hiding behind the curtain in the sunroom.  The adults don't seem to mind me ... even without the curtain to hide behind.  Most times I can be sitting right outside not more that several feet away and they will come to the food I place out there.

I've added a photo of a Blue Jay to Facebook if you'd like to have a look.  And my Grackle is better viewed full screen.

Thanks to Cailleach for keeping Wednesday's Wild!
