Hooker Falls

Jen was back to work this morning, bright and early, but we had some breakfast with Jason, and then set off on our way to a campground near Brevard North Carolina, actually almost on the border with South Carolina, a little over a three hour drive. Having set up camp, we went into the nearby DuPont State Forest for a fairly short hike to Hooker Falls, shown in my Blip. You can actually take a 7 mile hike to a total of four waterfalls from there, but by now it was late afternoon, the skies were looking rather threatening, and Roger wasn’t feeling too great - a cold of some kind of virus. So we just made do with the one for today, which was just as well, since we hadn’t been in the car long before it started to rain, and we had a bit of a storm go through.
