Buzzing Around

I'd only been out a few minutes when it began to rain. The radar showed it would pass soon, so I waited. Rain had brought out bugs, I assume mosquitoes (fearing the worst).

Light faded under the rain cloud and distant thunder rumbled on. Against dark trees, the bugs stood out, but even wide open and at iso 1000, they were a blur.

The result was like snow flurries, or some crazy microscopic science experiment.
