Wrong Turn

Happened to see this turtle through the window. It's a spiny softshell turtle and one of the largest freshwater turtles here. As with the snapper from the other day, I'm pretty sure she's looking to lay eggs. Unfortunately, tarmac is not going to work.

I went out to take a photograph, but I didn't want to deter her from her mission and left her to it.
