San Ciro's

I've been paying the price, today, for gallivanting around last week. In order to enter the coming week with approximate equanimity, I've spent the day at the dining room table, working away.

This morning I did some stuff on a peer review job which is being exceptionally badly handled by the funder (will not divulge name). Then I popped out to pick up the essentials from Leith Walk's finest hipster emporiums. Beer from Cornelius, bread from Kvasa and a sweet treat from Krema. All whilst blipping one of the other new cafes in the Red Sandstone / Stead's Place, San Ciro's. It seems to be mainly pizzas. We should try it some time.

The afternoon and evening have been spent on a variety of tasks, most significantly reading the applications for a lectureship, which we will be shortlisting this coming week. I finished that a matter of 10 minutes ago. Luckily I managed a peloton workout in the afternoon. I also spoke to L for a while around lunchtime.

There is still a list of stuff to enter the week with, but it's bearable.
