Island tours

Another brighter day so we took a little tour of the west side of the island; some of my favourite places spent here as a child myself.
Anya & Max enjoyed playing in the rock ‘houses’ & exploring rock pools at Imachar. We spotted seals along the coastline near to Dougrie & then went for a long walk along Machrie beach. Sadly no tearooms there anymore.
We stopped at Pirnmill for an icecream before heading back to the campsite at Lochranza for the evening. It was a beautiful evening, A&M played with a couple of other children; football, man hunt & painting stones. I was glad to have cooked & frozen a chicken curry at home, which went down well for tea.
