Poppies

The blue poppies are out in force  in the Botanics. (and it's Flower Friday).

Swim first, then cheese shopping. A fine dry sunny morning which was cloudier with a breeze from the North later on. We walked to the Botanics, found a poppy patch, then tea at Inverleith house. The Fleurs de Ville show is on; it didn't seem particularly busy, though there were a few lost people in silly hats around. 

Two swans on the pond. Back in by George V park. Early supper, then cheese and wine with neighbours in the building.
