Barra Airport

We had a good night, delicious breakfast and then ventured to Barra airport to watch the incoming flight land on the beach.

While waiting for the plane to arrive, we walked across the sand dunes on the opposite side of the road to see the Atlantic coast. The beach was deserted and very beautiful.

From the airport, we went to the Fish Box for take away lunch. I had mackerel pate on sourdough loaf with pickled onions. Very tasty.

Circuit of the Island and tasty scone and tea at the Post Office in Castlebay. Feel very full now!
