Another peony

Thank you for all your good wishes for my birthday yesterday.  It was a great day and lovely to spend it with the boys and Santana.

No 2 son left for his journey south after breakfast.  As always, so sad to see him go but good to have the place to ourselves again.  He had a good trip back with no hold ups which is all good.  He has a night stop to Toulouse tomorrow so he had some prep for that to do this afternoon.

We tidied up the garden, finished shovelling the mulch onto the borders and it all looks a lot tidier now.  Lots of washing and ironing for me and another piece of birthday cake beckons (extra).  Feet up this evening.
