Ferry to Barra

After a good night’s sleep, we left our hotel and drove the short distance to Oban. We had a wander around the shops there and then queued for our ferry to Barra.

Weather sunny and a few clouds becoming cloudier the further west we travel. It’s a 6 hr journey - the longest route we are told.  The ferry is quite empty with only about 100 passengers so peaceful.

Both sons have contacted me to wish me a happy birthday. I am now an OAP!
