The Accidental Portrait

Apologies for the photo of my rapidly ageing mug.

I was out on a short post-work bike ride with some younger chums whose anonymity I am protecting by cutting them out of a selfie, which unfortunately was the only photo I took today! So you're left with me, a man looking surprisingly happy considering that he'd gone over the handlebars just a few short moments before this shot.

Nice evening as the bike ride was followed by a visit and a night in with The Eldest as we caught up over a chilli and nachos tea (followed by a rhubarb crumble from a friendly neighbour) and watched The Fall Guy, which is a solid four-star flick. 

It's the first of three one-to-ones this week as the wee ones mother and I bid to give them a little break from one another!
