My topsy-turvy life

Resting the legs

In search of an adventure on a nice Saturday at the start of half term, Louisa, Owen, and me decided on a visit to a -very- busy Carding Mill Valley.
Owen made sure he was dressed in his explorer gear, complete with sword too cut down trees and ferns that got in our way. In truth he spent a lot of time hacking ferns and grass pretending to be Link from Legend of Zelda*. We took the green path up to the Lightspout waterfall climbing over rocks and crossing streams before reaching the waterfall itself* —the selfie* cost me the promise of an ice cream back at the cafe where Owen was amazed that we could sit on the roof with our ice creams.
