St Pierre, Saintes

had a good day exploring Saintes , despite the rain. Main blip and first extra are taken in the cathedral.  Have added another extra of the crypt of another church , St Eutrope .  When we got back to Abbaye aux Dames we had a go on their rather mad musical carousel (see extra). Its not a great photo but I was going  around on the carousel trying to play a harp at the time!  About a dozen people play various instruments whilst being 'conducted' by the chap shown. The resulting music is then recorded and played back. I dont think ours will be a classic!
