More veggies

Not a bad day today - we sat outside this morning in the sun with a book until it got too hot and we had to go in!

We've got my nephew and his wife staying for a few days - today they were off to climb Ben Nevis with a group of friends, so I thought I should go back to the Walled Garden to begin planting my spuds, though I really didn't have the energy! Not only did I have spuds chitting, but had potted a huge number of tiny potatoes which were seriously leafy. I hoped to make a start, but surprised myself by planting them all! Probably too close together, but never mind! My Blip today.

I was very surprised not long after I returned home at 4.30 to find our guests returning too! They hadn't planned to be back until late, after going out to dinner. Unfortunately one of their friends had tripped on the Ben Nevis path and hit her head very hard, so the Mountain Rescue were called and she was airlifted to hospital in Fort William by helicopter - not the sort of day that they'd planned. I think she's OK, but it was quite a shock.
