Rainy Manchester

A rainy morning, lovely sunny afternoon and beautiful sunny evening.  After being away, it was cold today! 

Arrived back to the UK, and into the hotel at 4am.  Up at 8am, headed down for breakfast for 9am.  Taxi to the airport, first flight to Aberdeen.  Second flight home to Shetland was in the afternoon.  Popped by mam's on my way home, then fetched Sammy from Madeline's.  Madeline made a lovely tea.  So much has grown while away.  The grass was super tall, all the lush green trees in bloom and flowers galore.  Friend Julie kept an eye on my bedding plants.  Grass cut, walkies with Sammy, then much needed sofa time.

It was a lovely morning on arrival today.  By the time I woke, it wad bucketing down, and a chilly 14⁰c.  Seems like I've managed to take some sunshine home to Scotland, and thankfully to Shetland, just need the warmth to hurry along too. There was a bit of cloud on arrival home, but soon cleared.  If I hadn't been away, I'd probably have said today had been a warm day.  Here's the wet welcome at Manchester Airport this morning.
