A bit of a dull photo

There's always drama,
or so it seems.  Painful night
led to arm check up.

So Ben didn't sleep but it wasn't his knees bothering him, rather his arm.  He broke his shoulder last summer and he's been guarding his arm in a really similar way and he was saying that he couldn't sleep due to the pain.  Mr KCNQ2Haiku and I could see it was really different than last time, he wasn't pale and quiet plus he was still jiggling and bouncing and didn't mind us touching it.. but he was still saying he couldn't lie on it or lift it up.  After a very poor night sleep I decided I needed to get him checked out so we could know for sure if he'd impacted the old injury.  What a pain.  We did the 111 call and got sent to the urgent care centre where we waited about a lot but he had an x ray that showed he was fully in tact.  Phew.  He's been so much better since, I think he must have been worrying that it was the same and now he knows it's fine he's less guarded with it.  It has de-railed the day a bit though.  Mr KCNQ2Haiku stayed with Leo whilst I sorted the hospital and when we returned I went back to bed to try and catch up on some sleep.  We managed a short walk with no incidents around 3pm but it was a bit grey and drizzly (see photo).  There's a selfie of us three but we all look trashed, so I discounted it, even though it reflects the mood quite well!
Now it's time for a ready meal tea and hopefully a better night's sleep!
