Sink in transformation

This  morning, we  finally (!) got around to the first stage of creating a plant trough out of an old sink we were gifted  a few months ago. We  made hypertufa, using a mixture of cement, sharp sand,  coir compost and water. We pressed this on to the sink which  we had covered with PVA glue, to give it a natural  stone-like appearance. We were very lucky to complete the job before the  rain came. We 've now covered it with an old compost bag to protect keep it dry and allow it to cure properly.
