Z Is For Zantedeschia

The final day of my Alphabet Challenge suggested by Mrs Kaybee during a blipmeet. The reason for our discussion was that I was just lacking in inspiration and feeling I couldn't be bothered picking the camera up.

This challenge certainly made me start thinking from early in the day, or the day before, about what I should blip. The relief of it was that, after getting a shot of "the thing" I didn't need to spend the rest of the day searching for better things.

The hiccup in all this planning came when I was unexpectedly invited to Sheffield on Z- Day! I couldn't do my planned trip to a garden centre to get a zantedeschia in flower. In her invitation #1 Daughter had a beastly description of her offspring but I couldn't claim I had arrived at a zoo!

Here you get a leaf off my non-flowering zantedeschia , hurriedly taken this morning before my camera was packed into the car.
