Contrasting Caravan Sites
I couldn't leave Crystal Palace Caravan and Motorhome site without a quick shot of the setting we had for our caravan. Roses, rhododendrons and high hedges dividing up various areas so we all felt we were on a small site. This site was complete with showers, kitchen sinks, ring-necked parakeets and foxes.
After being on the road for 6.5 hours, stopping only briefly at Oxford Services we arrived near Rugeley in Staffordshire. We calculated our motoring average speed to have been 27.3 mph, and that was mainly on motorways and dual carriageways!
Tired as we were, we managed a short evening stroll along a path bordering our campsite. This site is without facilities but borders on Cannock Chase with birch woodland, cuckoos and chiffchaffs. See Extras.
