Old Sarum

In the background is Old Sarum, an 11th century fort, castle and then cathedral. One of the places we always look forward to seeing when we come to Salisbury. The campsite we are staying in for several days is right at the foot of this ancient landmark.

We started off the day saying hello and goodbye to several fellow blippers we met up with briefly at Blackroot Pool in Sutton Park. Then we drove through returning holiday traffic to our current destination.

We arrived in the midst of a downpour but the day brightened up after dinner, so we had a little walk around the rugby club field.
