Wound up in Wexford

Oxalis

Among the 323 bulbs I planted last month were 25 oxalis bulbs.  They're already producing these attractive leaves.

I took this rather uninspiring photo when I took a cup of tea out to the worker in his workshop - varnishing some shelves that may shortly feature in blip.  It's the only photo I took, because shortly after this it started to rain.

I had an orchestral rehearsal in the afternoon and set off in rain, which at times was torrential, but then as I reached Wexford, I drove out of it into lovely sunshine.

A few hours later, it arrived in Murntown, and as we finished playing the last piece we were practicing, it sounded like thunderous applause on the tin roof.  If only!!  Our concert is next weekend, which is, in Ireland, a Bank Holiday weekend - ticket sales have been disappointing.
