Bee flight
Once upon a time, certain members of my family would comment "not another bee on a flower shot", and as a result nowadays if I take a picture of a bee I tend to try to get the bees when they are not actually on the flower. In a perfect world I'd have liked a little more distance between the bee and the flower in this case, so that the antennae are not overlapping the flower itself, but it gives me something to think about for next time!
As for which bee it is ... well I always find accurate bee identification difficult (I probably need a better field guide). It looks superficially like Bombus Pascuorum, but the very obvious pollen baskets are pale so I'd guess at either Bombus Humilis or Bombus Muscorum. I'm very happy to be corrected by those of you that are more knowledgeable.
