End Of Holiday

End of our holiday in the Borders area of Scotland.  We have had a really good week.  Mainly good weather but some very heavy rain for about a day and a half.  On our final day we visited Selkirk where we did a walk around The Haining Estate and it is where I took this photo.  

When the owner died in 2009 he left the estate and a beautiful Georgian house to the people of Selkirk and the surrounding area for there use.  It is now managed by a charitable trust and the old house is being restored for the.  A great asset to the community.   

I have added a few extras.  The first is an evening view from the balcony of our lodge; the second is a photo of Scott's View and lastly a cute little goat that we used to pass on our walks.
