A surprise victory

Good to see the local barber's shop supporting Manchester United in today's FA Cup Final. I've supported United since I first saw them on the TV in the 1957 Cup Final. I lived in Kent and didn't have a local League team to support and it was the era of the Busby Babes. The excitement generated by that young team must have made an impact on an impressionable 7 year old. I used to go to see all their London games when I was in my teens in the days when you could just rock up at the stadium and pay at the turnstiles to stand on the terraces. And yes, i have been to Old Trafford to see them play. They weren't given much chance today against City but they were different class and achieved a surprise victory. I put it down to the fact that I have brought my old Man Utd t-shirt and beer mug out of retirement and put both to good use whilst watching the game.
