Top Down
A lovely afternoon in Glasgow.
I meet A at noon and we went to Halloumi for a very tasty & filling lunch.
We then made our way to the Theatre Royal with a brief diversion to try and find the location of Hurricanes - a bar I went to int 80s pre Maestros.
On previous visits to Theatre Royal I've blipped the staircase from the bottom up, this time I decided to headed to the top and look down and discovered they had a roof terrace! Who knew ? Well we didn't and we enjoyed a drink there before the show.
The show was Matthew Bourne's Edward Scissorhands and overall I enjoyed it. It had many familar elements and some lovely touches and beautiful moments. I felt it slightly repetive at times but really enjoyed the final scenes.
I was booked on a later bus with changes but was able to get a seat on earlier direct bus.
A grand day out.
