Back to irises

Having shared my front garden irises, I now bring you my back garden ones. They always seem to come into bloom a week or so after the front garden ones and like them they were there when we got the house and continue to grace us with their presence each year without much intervention on our part. If only all gardening was so easy ! 

My dad and his wife came for lunch today - it is always nice to see them both and to catch up face to face. 

T's Twinning AGM went well last night - it was quorate and a new committee was elected. T's time as chair is over and he is now treasurer and plans are being made for visit from our twinning partners in September.  Once the formalities we were over we chatted over (French) cheese and (French) wine.
