It's a wet morning
so my flowers will be so

I was up too early and munching my granola at 5 AM. At 6 I decided to drive out to Tranquille with some hopes of photos in the rain. 

I stopped for a look to the west where it seemed to be clearing. The wetlands pond is already expanding with rain and spring runoff. Some water fowl are finding their way to it. The river will replenish it as the water levels come up. Today, there are big puddles everywhere. 

I found the hunting osprey perched on a power pole near the nest. When I took this shot I did not see the fish in its claws. It flew up and past the nest. I guess it's not sharing this breakfast. I could not see a head in the nest. The sitter must be slunked down low as an umbrella today. 

I took a look to the east across the wetlands pond to see my mountains hardly visible. 

I stopped for groceries and some drive-thru breakfast before heading home. I'm in for the day with a friend here for some reno work. I'll serve lunch.
