Flower Friday - Campanula Portenschlagiana

The fortnightly visit from my cleaners was much-needed today after the inevitable dust from the windows being replaced on Tuesday. I cleared off for a coffee and toasted teacake at The Exchange (an occasional treat - still slowly losing weight through cutting out snacks etc), and caught up with my Bible study. Friends Val and Ian came over for a chat, and to ask for my cleaners’ phone number. I nearly always see someone or other that I know in there - it’s nice to belong to a community.

The conveyancing solicitor sent an updated version of a form which hadn’t opened properly, so I’ve spent this afternoon printing that and some other unrelated documents that I needed hard copies of. I’ll get all the flat sale documents signed and witnessed this weekend and send them off after the Bank Holiday. The local interiors shop also called back with an appointment for next week to measure up for the venetian blinds, so that’s another bit of the refurbishment in hand.

This pretty Campanula was a gift given some time ago by my cousin Julia. It dies back over the winter, but is looking lovely at the moment. Thank you to BikerBear for hosting Flower Friday.
