Evening entertainment

After working in the day we turned our attention to the staircase and applied some oil to the treads. We knew we would be out for a few hours and this would allow time for the oil to dry.
Our evening was spent attending a talk on the history of Park Woods and the Deer Park that used to be part of it. It was interesting though the pub seats were uncomfortable and the presentation a little under rehearsed. It was good to catch up with some people we had not seen for a while.When we got back home it was dark, which is unusual for us at the moment.
