Padel

After more stair oiling and the visit of a carpet salesperson who gave us an even more expensive quote for the upstairs landing and stair carpet, we went to the DLC where I had booked a padel court as R had not yet played it. We had to buy a set of balls but hired the racquets. It was fun knocking around in the game and surprisingly exacting. We then did gym and swim and bought some items in the supermarket before heading back. Had a call with J&L in the evening yo talk (again) about holidays. Not such good news for S who had an ete infection today so M had to take her to casualty, and then S found out that her university has not (in the exam she takes tomorrow) given her the agreed time allowance. They will try and sort it out in the morning but are not optimistic as the university is so incompetent
