Sourdough and Brighton

This morning we had a slightly odd but enjoyable time learning how to make sourdough bread. The tutor Noa describes herself as opera singer and baker, and a group of nine of us experienced both of her talents. The course was 3 hours long, including an interval where she sang two arias accompanied by her pianist husband. We came away with sourdough starter and a loaf to bake at home. The method of baking sourdough seems complicated but we will give it a go.
Afterwards we drove to Brighton to see J&L and Amber, and it was only when we were there that we realised it was their wedding anniversary (2years) so we toasted that with some bubbly and had a takeaway whilst watching their wedding video. And the cats were on their garden wall looking indifferent to the day’s events.
