Breakfast with Becky ( Paul still in bed) 
The waiter saw her opening her cards and appeared with a 'Birthday croissant ' ie a pain au chocolat with 2 candles in. Made us all smile. 

Met up with my brother before we all left. Next time we meet up it needs to be flatter while he's still on crutches.  
A hazier day today and not as hot. 
 A stroll round Ambleside. The field we usually take Fletch to is all dug up so he had to stay on lead 

We had planned to lunch in the Angel in Bowness but the town was busy! So we decided to carry on to Cafe Ambio which was quiet and more civilised.  
A stop off at M&S before home. I love the wild flower patch before the entrance

Still warm and sunny for Fletchs teatime walk. Felt like we'd been away longer than 2 days
