Rigena's House

A beautiful sunny day, super warm again, peaking at 35⁰c, and high humidity.  Not much cooling wind.

Up early, last day with the hire car and set off early.  First stop was the sleepy village of Kallepia, then on to another beautiful and quiet village, Amargeti, where we had a cuppa too.  A lovely walk around Choulou, then stopped for lunch at Panagia.  Last stop of the day was in Lysos, again, stunning.  Sat-Nav did well, kept us off busy roads and stunning scenery all the way.  Back to the hotel this evening and a quiet night ahead. 

There are just too many beautiful villages around the mountains, everyone has it's own character and beauty, but trying to capture it can be tricky, as most are built on the mountain slopes, proving difficult to snap.  As you walk about the villages, there's always hidden turns and lanes, taking you in all directions.  This hidden lane had a lovely bright addition with the splash of colour from the flowering bush.  Taken at Rigena's House, Choulou, Cyprus.
