Aphrodite's Rock

You guessed it, sunny and extremely warm today.  A lovely cooling wind this evening. 

Up early, headed to a local laundry after breakfast.  While waiting on the washing, a morning at the beach.  Picked up the laundry, lunch in the hotel.  In the afternoon, headed in land and came across Argonaftis Donkey Farm, some lovely healthy animals.  A visit to a few very small villages, but it was so hot and sticky, we headed back to the hotel.  A quiet evening ahead.  

A lovely relaxing morning at the beach.  When we arrived, it was fairly quiet, but wasn't long until various folk arrived, still nothing crowded.  The first dip into the crystal clear sea was a tad chilly, but soon warmed up as I swam around.  Next few dips were perfect.  The water here is so inviting, how could you not swim here.  Old legend has it, if you swim around Aphrodite's Rock (the middle sea stack), you'll regain twenty years of youthful looks, it was a tad too far for me today.  Taken from the sea at Aphrodite's Beach, Cyprus.
