Albanians love their statues!

We had a relaxed morning walking around Durrës. We had a salad and a beer at a place by the sea then got our transfer to the airport at 2. The Albanians seem to enjoy the cafe culture and being Saturday families were out on the prom. Young boys were wandering back from swimming in the sea and big groups of teenage girls paraded along. So many young people here smoke.

The flight was on time and once at Heathrow we got a bus to the T5 Premier Inn where we are staying the night. Our bags are going straight through so we have all we need in the day sacs - I hope.

Nathaniel had a good first night despite the nerves. Daughter (who may be a bit biased) said he was brilliant and the director is very pleased with him. She forgot to take a photo of the curtain call.
