The most lovely pudding at new favourite restaurant Quality Wines of Exmouth Market.  We went there before the ballet at Sadlers Wells.  We went to see Streetcar Named Desire, directed and conceptualised by our friend Nancy Meckler for Scottish Ballet.   It was incredibly beautiful and powerful and the full house was young and enthusiastic.  I should have blipped something more ballet related but we were talking to friends before and had to rush for the train afterwards. 


I spent the morning in the office catching up, made asparagus soup for lunch and then changed and went up to London, with Vikram, to see the show, catching a quick dinner beforehand

We went into Quality Wines on the off chance as we’d booked somewhere else.  All the courses were lovely and simple and the wines were beautiful.  I made the line in the icing sugar so V wouldn’t get one crumb of the chocolate or ricotta from my side, that’s how good it was.
