Californian poppies

These poppies greeted me at the allotment today…they are self seeded and we have lots of plants dotted around. Also we have lots of ‘Love in the Mist’ which self seed too, they are just about to start flowering. Then I can cut some of each to bring home for a vase of flowers!

This morning I went to Pilates with a cover instructor, hard work as we had to use bands round our legs for lots of routines. 
Later I went to the allotment and planted runner bean plants  which are about 12-18” tall. It was about 23.5C so lots of watering needed on all our plants and where we have put in seeds.

Picked up my car which passed its MOT and had a basic service as I do not do much mileage.

As it was so warm I looked out some thinner clothes and put away some thick ones…let’s hope the warm weather continues.
