King Street

This is a new mural in Twickenham which I spotted today when cycling past..it’s not actually in King Street but a street leading off it. I did a quick circle down by the river to look at it properly and get a photo. Lots of shops on Kings Street have closed since the pandemic and some are still empty, others newly opened.

I joined a small group of cycling friends for the first time since January. We cycled along the good paved path by the River Crane( very lush vegetation and trees alongside which was nice)  to Hounslow and visited another of the group at her home…and had delicious birthday cake from yesterday there! 

New cycle lanes have been marked from Teddington to Twickenham and newly painted yellow lines etc. the whole road is being re tarmaced and there are more residents parking spaces with wheels on the pavement. I think it will be better if..cars do not park in the cycle lane…one was today!
