Day 24 Camino Rest day in Leon

A much needed rest day in Leon today. A bit of a lie in followed by a trip to see Leon cathedral. Has to be the highlight so far in terms of architecture. Cracking gothic structure influenced heavily by French architecture. Wonderful stained glass and light.
Todays blip is a detail of the many sculptures that you find inside the cathedral. I feel like the guy holding the saint particularly at the end of each day! The rucksack seems to get heavier as the day progresses. I’m sure my pilgrim chum is slipping stones into my rucksack when I’m not looking!
