Day 23 Camino Reliegos to Leon

Today we arrived at our final big city before our final destination of Santiago. The days walk was not the most interesting and involved walking by or on roads. We finally limped into Leon relieved and looking forward to a days rest. My knee was playing up a bit but I hope the rest tomorrow will restore my limbs in readiness for what lies ahead.
It was nice to explore the city of Leon and we had a good meal in the busy city centre which was rammed with people going out and having fun. Lots of hen and what looked like stag parties were also in evidence including this one involving males wearing red dresses. The Spanish certainly like to party!
