Day 22 Camino Bercianos del Camino to Reliegos

The hottest day so far of the Camino (26 degrees) saw us journey to another small town called Reliegos. Tomorrow we will hit the last major city before arriving at Santiago. After so travelling for so long on the meseta (Spanish plains), it’ll be nice to see a different landscape.
The journey once again was travelling on straight roads in the dusty heat. After 21km we arrived at our hostel. We had a nice meal with a German lady from Munich and wondered into town after to stretch our legs. We stumbled on Bar Ellvis (todays blip), which we found out was featured in the famous Camino film The Way. We naturally stopped for a beer. It’s a bit of a dive but has a lot of character including these two guys playing chess outside. Apparently the bar owner encourages some visitors to grafito the walls of his bar!
