You can see I’ve embraced no mow May
Sitting in my garden in the morning, I couldn’t see what I was taking as the screen was black, as it often is when you photograph with your phone in bright sunshine. Basically, it’s quite a lot of weeds/self sown plants: forget me nots, foxgloves and buttercups. Doing washing, a small amount of cleaning, lots of gardening (though mostly my pots on the patio). I also went to the garden centre and got tomato plants, I just have room for two.
The wonderful decorator is here, and today he did all the white gloss on my stairs and landing. Lots and lots of banisters! He did it all in one day, it would have taken me about 6 weeks:) So there was an elaborate arrangement of doors to keep Portia away for 24 hours, yet give her access to the garden. Luckily it worked this time.
In the evening I also enjoyed watching the peregrine falcons who nest on Salisbury Cathedral every year. I like to watch them every spring. If you don’t know about it here’s a link. I do love to follow them as they grow up, though it can be gory:)
