One flower open

On my little rhododendron which lives in a pot. A warm day, I put washing out to dry for the first time this year. A lot of pottering, which always seems to be necessary after a trip away. Went to the chiropodist, a new luxury which I started at the beginning of this year.
In the evening I went to a pretty pointless film with my film friend. The Fall Guy with Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. The problem is H has some very difficult and upsetting things in her life, and doesn’t want to see anything that might have sad parts, or be challenging. But we’ve been doing film nights together for about 25 years so I think I can put up with a few crappy lightweight films while she’s going through this.
