Colourful

Another warm and summery day. It’s hard to comprehend the rapid changes in temperature and light, and in the landscape, which happen at this time of year. This is the field where we often walk with Merlin. It wasn’t many weeks ago that this was a predominantly brown and grey scene, and very wet underfoot.

A day doing jobs at home and in the garden, and walking Merlin.

Grateful:
- To plant dahlia tubers into pots in the garden. I’ve not grown them before so it’s a learning experience.
- For homemade minestrone soup at lunchtime.
- To feel a little more organised and on top of things at home.
