May flower
‘May flower’ on the hawthorn - so abundant, it wafts along the hedgerows in cloud like formations. I particularly like the red stamen inside.
Andy played golf this morning so I juggled online meetings and Merlin. All went well and Andy returned happy if somewhat tired and with a stiff back, and Merlin was of course delighted to have his master home.
A gentle day for me physically - just a wander to the allotment and back after work. The slugs are having a great feast on the young spinach I planted on Sunday. Later we removed the aubergines from the raised beds in the garden and put them back in pots - I will plant them out when they are bigger and more able to withstand slug/snail damage. The joys of trying to grow vegetables!
Hope your day has been kind to you. Warmest wishes x
