Double Crypt
It's Bank Holiday Monday here in the UK, so of course it has been pouring with rain for most of the day. Nevertheless, I took myself off to a local(-ish) garden centre for a coffee and to look for a new raised bed planter to replace the one that has collapsed in my garden. I didn't find the latter, but enjoyed my coffee while checking out ideas for double exposures for Mono Monday.
On idea that really took my eye was a shot of a cityscape overlaid with a second but take upside down to give a reflective effect. No similar views being available to me locally, I headed across to Waverley Abbey ruins to experiment. One of the best in-camera double exposures I achieved was this shot is of the ruined crypt which apart from some exposure and contrast tweaks, and addition of a lighter vignette, is pretty well straight out of camera.
