Wisteria House
Apart from work, a day of errands. This house in the city centre is right next to one I used to live in as a student, and I always loved the huge wisteria growing all the way up to its third floor. It is also a very old house, built in 1872, when the town of Wiesbaden just started to become a popular spa, and the older, smaller houses were replaced by more representative buildings in the neoclassical style. I saw it again when I picked up some medicine for my mother this afternoon, and thought it was a nice blip, even though the wisteria has almost finished flowering.
This morning, I drove our Munni-cat to the vet for her regular checkup. Munni (the cat) hates driving, and was sick just before we got there. I cleaned her carrier, took her inside, and we waited.
After about 15 minutes, I overheard the receptionist telling other people that they currently had three emergencies in the clinic, and didn’t know how long the wait would be. So I offered to free some of their time and come back another day, and drove home with Munni (the cat), who was sick again after five minutes in the car.
