Change in weather

After a period of cool, dry, sunny weather, the rain came as a bit of a shock today. However, I’m sure the garden breathed a sigh of relief and the weeds will now be appearing in great numbers, I’m sure.
It was a good day for catching up with the ironing and while doing so, I relieved the boredom by watching some episodes of The Great British Menu which I had recorded back in February..
During a lull in the rain, Bertie and I ventured out for a walk and it was while we were returning through the garden that I captured this rather damp azalea which is just opening up to its full glory.
